Siberian cats have a reputation for being hypoallergenic. While studies show that there is no such thing as a purely hypoallergenic cat, it is true that many people with allergies do not react to Siberian cats. My husband has cat allergies but he is just fine with our two Siberian cats. This is because Siberian cats have lower Fed1 levels than other cats.
